Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Don’t be fooled by the name. Yes, they do have delicious smoothies there, but they also have great food that is prepared fresh. Tropical Smoothie Cafe has a wide variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups. I highly recommend the chicken cordon bleu wrap, which has all the classic ingredients in a great wrap form. Their smoothies are also prepared fresh when you order them, and you are also able to get supplements if you want an extra shot of something like vitamin C. They are great for breakfast if you are not a huge eater in the morning like I am. The “Morning After” is a good one to

get the juices flowing. There are also some amazing dessert smoothies, a few of which are made with Ghiradelli chocolate.

This place is a great alternative if you’re looking to eat out but you don’t want to go to a place that is really expensive or if you’re trying to watch what you’re eating. Sometimes the smoothie is enough of a meal in itself, and they are pretty filling. They have a ton of options, and if there is something you don’t like (or if like myself you have a food allergy) they’re happy to leave it out.
