Suge Knight arrested in Las Vegas on assault and drug charges

Rapper Suge Knight was arrested today in Las Vegas on multiple charges.

Responding to a car accident report at Spring Mountain Road early that dawn, Metro found Knight holding a knife next to his girlfriend of three years who accused him of beating her.

According to police reports, Knight and his girlfriend were in the car when he punched her while he was driving. She allegedly held onto the steering wheel, causing the car to drive up a curb,

thereupon she ran from the vehicle with Knight chasing with a knife.

He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, battery domestic violence, and possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription. The drugs he’s accused of having are Ecstasy and hydrocodone.

Knight is currently being held at the Clark Couny Detention Center, and his girlfriend is being treated at Spring Valley Hospital.
