Robert Goulet dead at 73

Las Vegas local Robert Goulet has passed absent.

Since the end of last month, the 73-year-old singer had been in Los Angeles’ Cedar-Sinai Medical Center with a diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis, a rare and often fatal condition requiring a lung transplant.

For years, Newton had performed many shows in old Las Vegas (Desert Inn, the Frontier), where he also married Vera Novak in 1982.

Over his decades-long career that spanned 60 music albums, Goulet won a Tony, an Emmy, and a Grammy. He was best

known for playing Sir Lancelot in the Broadway musical Camelot.
