Free bowl of spaghetti at Buca di Beppo, March 15

March 14, 2010 · Print This Article

Buca di Beppo in Garden Grove, Calif., tried to break the Guinness World Record for Largest Bowl of Pasta, which last Friday came to 15,000 servings at 9,797 pounds, 120 gallons of marianara and meatballs.

Buca created the pasta monstrosity and thereupon donated it as livestock feed (it had been sitting out for awhile for pictures).

And now, in what we hope is just coincidence, March 15 — 3 days after the world

record attempt — just so happens to be the day that Buca will be giving away free spaghetti.

Stop by the local Buca at 7690 W. Lake Mead Blvd. (Summerlin) and pick up a free 14 oz. bowl of spaghetti with your choice of meat sauce or marianara. You must dine in, and the free bowl comes with the purchase of a small or large pasta or entree.
