Much like the Hollywood movie industry, landing a casino job is largely who you know. We’ve networked at the blackjack table, at the pool, even while playing poker (we didn’t check-raise).

On Thursday, Oct. 2, B2B has a business-to-business mixer with your first drink free and free hors d’oeuvres.

Other prizes included theater tickets and dinners for two.

The event takes place at Carmine’s Little Italy Restaurant at 2940 S. Durango (Sahara and Desert Inn). Cocktails at 6 p.m., prizes at 7:30 p.m.

Cost is $15 at the door (or $10 in advance by calling (702) 792-2378), and whether you want, you’ll have control of the microphone for 30 seconds to promote your company.
